I have a lot of catching up to do!!  But here's a quick fave from my 29th bday:

They are the best!

Almost Walking!

Taken Nov 30...getting braver and stronger every day!
Also- online shopping is great...until the delivery guy is carrying your purchase to the house and Naomi screams "Hey!!  It's my art project thing!"  Needless to say she got an early gift from mommy and daddy. The plus side is it has been keeping her busy!

she said she drew "Naomi."  I LOVE little kid drawings of people!

half our dining room is now an art studio...and I love it!

we are now working on order lol.  and she insists on using a lower case "i"- too cute.  she really likes the "dot" on it!

Happy, Growing Kids

This video is from today at Monkey Joes- an indoor place with lots of bounce houses/slides!

Fall Fun

toys?  nah.  I'll play with this here table cloth.

my loves in their halloween shirts

Wayne county fair with her best friend

my lovely fairy!

waiting to ride the hay ride at the fair

love that face!

there goes that fairy again!

my child in only 2 shirts this day (well a shirt over a dress)...usually it's 3 or 4.  she just can't decide what to wear so she wears them all!

My Little Pony

Bridging the generation gap: I love that my daughter LOVES My Little Pony, Strawberry Shortcake, and Hello Kitty as much as I did!  This was the first time she would let someone paint her face- and she wanted a pink pony.  Note she is wearing a MLP shirt, too!  And...then she went to school the next day with her face paint still on.  DON'T mess with a girl and her pink pony face paint.

Bryson and his buddy chatting over dinner.  This was at Chick-Fil-A where Naomi's preschool had a fundraiser (eat food, they get some money for the school) and where she got her face painted.

And more Bryson videos...I know, I need a Naomi video ;)  Poor girl...but peek-a-boo isn't such an accomplishment when you're 3 and 1/2.

Bryson 9 Months

How cute is he resting his chin in his hand?!

more mobile everyday!!

9 month stats:
21lbs 1oz  57%
29 1/4 inches 78%
49cm head circumference 99%! big brain, right?

Emails from Bryant and surprise photos on facebook!!

I love waking up to an email from Bryant.  (he currently gets off work when it is 2am by me so writes instead of calls)  I have to say taking this one day at a time is helpful- I'm not nearly as stressed as last time, but it is still taking ohhh so long ;)  It's so funny to me that time always passes at the same rate but can feel to be passing soo fast or sooo slow.  Anyway here's the pic!

He's with our friend Kim with whom he trained with way back in Pensacola.  His squadron is currently replacing hers- but since he went over there early he's gotten to see a lot of old friends :)  This was after his first combat sortie (flight) there!  Oh my PIMP :)  (that's his call sign!....just in case you didn't know)  We love and miss you!!

Here we go again!

Sept '09

Sept '11

In the world of F-15E operational squadrons we were blessed to have our deployments this far apart.  Although this time Bryant will be gone for almost 7 months instead of 4.  We miss you already daddy!  Bryson got super excited when the Blue's Clues guy came on tv- I think he thought it was Bryant!  Same dark hair and dark eyebrows lol!  And when we were trying to explain to Naomi what was going on... she said "why does daddy have to go to another country?"  "why does he have to fly his plane there?"  I finally said he has to fly his plane there to get some bad guys.  After thinking for a minute she said, "Wow!  My daddy's a hero!  He gets bad guys!!!"  I said Yes. He. Is.  :)  I think we can thank tv shows for the hero-gets-the-bad-guy scenario.  And for now she is content to have that explanation.  Except she says she hopes he flies his plane really fast so the bad guys don't get him.  I said don't worry, his plane is REALLY fast.

Busch Gardens!

On our way back from DC we stopped at Busch Gardens in VA
Naomi saw other people taking pics with their heads in these so she went over and posed, too!

Although she's a little past her Sesame obsessed days, she still enjoyed all the kid activities!

The park was divided into countries- here Naomi rode a horse in Scotland

checking out the Clydesdale

venturing to Ireland

and France

and Germany

these pics Bryant took while we were riding the carousel...the many faces of Bryson!

Dragon land

We caught a show in Italy- Naomi LOVED it and I can't wait to take her to future music/dancing shows like this!  Maybe the Fresh Beats will come to Raleigh!  (Naomi's recent fave show on Nick)

another pic of the chillin baby during our 4 hr park fun

the things we do to see our kids smile- I HATE the teacups!!  I can no longer do spinning rides!  and to think my fave ride as a kid was the tilt-a-whirl!  man, I'm getting old ;)
